My mom had this Peanuts comic laminated, it is a conversation between Lucy and Charley. Lucy says to him, "I want to be a nurse when I grow up."
Charley replies "why?"
Lucy retorts, "because I like white shoes."
Being a little girl IS a white shoe occupation! My, my, you really have it all-- little-girl-hood (haha pun intended??), Guido, Cappy, Kitty, and your friends DT and SFC. Who are all white-shoe folks at heart. Really.
